A Filipino bakery, one alley wide.
Friends & Family Bake sits in Unit 101 of 3 Fan Tan Alley, in Victoria’s historic Chinatown, along Pandora Avenue. It is a small space with a big reputation: 531 Google reviews and a perfect 5.0 average, built one warm pandesal at a time.
Everything is made the traditional Filipino way: pandesal rolled in bread crumbs, ensaymada frosted with real ube (purple yam) or with margarine and grated cheese, and bicho-bicho twisted and dusted with sugar.
Part of the proceeds of Friends and Family Bake Corporation goes to Zoe Children’s Home Foundation in Bais Dumaguete, Philippines to help children who cannot afford school supplies.
